QUALITY CONTROL

Glavmosstroy is a large-scale town-planning and construction company, the market leader in investment and construction in the city of Moscow and all over Russia. Glavmosstroy’s activities are aimed at carrying out investment projects, as well as municipal housing construction. Glavmosstroy’s motto is “Quality first”.

“Quality first” means that we have a system of measures to ensure the unfailing adherence to legal requirements and technical standards throughout the whole cycle of construction. “Quality first” is based on identifying current and future consumer demands, and satisfying those demands. The principle of “Quality first” is the foundation of the quality control policy approved by the president of Glavmosstroy.

In 2003 Glavmosstroy introduced a quality management system – “QMS-Glavmosstroy” in accordance with the requirements laid down in ISO 9001:2000. This was not done as lip-service to fashionable ideas, but the modern foundation of business practice. The QMS was introduced as part of a process of improving out internal structure and developing new operating regulations with the constant involvement and training of all our staff. Our system was approved by the international certifying organisation TUV CERT (Germany). A certificate was issued.

October 2004 saw the first observation audit of QMS-Glavmosstroy. The validity of the certificate was confirmed by a decision of the Certifying Organisation, TUV THURINGEN (Germany), dated 16.11.2004.

In accordance with regulations established by the international certifying organisation TUV THURINGEN (Germany), on 22-23 of November 2005 a second observation audit of the quality management system introduced in Glavmosstroy took place. On the results of this audit, TUV specialists noted the full compliance of QMS-Glavmosstroy with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, its high level of maturity, and the overall improvement of the system. A decision of the certifying organisation TUV THURINGEN (Germany), dated 03.01.2006, authorised the external audit report and confirmed the validity of the certificate.
